Baby bags and maternal health

Rotary is committed to saving mothers and children who are vulnerable due to inadequate healthcare, poor sanitation and malnutrition. As well as supporting the wider maternal health programs of Rotary International and RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service), our club provides practical support via baby bags. Each baby bag, which is lovingly sewn, contains cloth nappies, waterproof pants, clothes, bunny rugs and other personal hygiene items for mum and bub. The bags are taken to the remote village health centres for delivery by health care professionals. You can help us by sewing these clever bags and some of the contents or donating to the cost of the bags.
