Operation Come Home offers programs and support for homeless and at-risk youth.
Mark Saturday, September 06, 2025 on your calendar! Rotarians encourage Stittsville residents to come to Brown’s Independent Grocer to donate food items or cash at the food drive for Operation Come Home. Look for the big blue Rotary canopy at the entrance to the store between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
Thanks to the generosity of Stittsville, last year’s Rotary food drive gathered $1,000 in cash and about 300 pounds of food items and we hope to surpass those totals in this third year of organizing the event. What a big boost for the center’s programs and services for youth coming into the fall months!
Operation Come Home which serves as a center in Ottawa for homeless and at-risk youth aged 16-29 is dedicated to providing employment, education, and support services. The programs which prioritize the needs and aspirations of youth, foster personal growth on an individual level to make positive changes in their lives.
