Members of the Stittsville Rotary Club offered their services at the Food Bank on January 30, 2019 to inventory and stock generous donations from the community.
The Stittsville Food Bank provides assistance to those in need in the former Township of Goulbourn which includes the communities of Stittsville and the surrounding rural areas. It distributes non-perishable and perishable food items as well as a limited list of personal toiletries that have been generously donated by the community. The Stittsville Food Bank is run entirely by 50 unpaid volunteers and a 12-member Board of Directors. It has been in operation since 1992.
