Located in the Westgate Shopping Centre at 1309 Carling Avenue, Maidan Market's mission and vision is to make a difference in lives of Ukrainians who are newcomers to Canada and help them integrate into larger community. Svitlana Maksiuta, Ukrainian Canadian Congress Ottawa Settlement Manager, was the guest speaker at the Stittsville Rotary meeting on May 02, 2023. Having joined Maidan Market when it was established in May 2022 with the support of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Ottawa Branch, she offered the personal insight of a newcomer to Canada and she described the operation of the resource centre.
