The Art for Aid project gives art supplies to schools in remote Indigenous communities to help youth express their stories and personal messages and expand upon their creative skills with ample tools to choose from.

Colleen Gray was the guest speaker at the  Stittsville Rotary meeting by zoom on August 27, 2020. She shared her clear mission with the members - she wants to connect Canadian Indigenous youth to the art and knowledge of their culture by ensuring there are art programs in remote schools and communities. Colleen does this by collecting donations of new and gently used art supplies for Art for Aid, a program under I Love First Peoples, a registered charity.
One of the long-term goals for this program is to ignite and inspire the curiosity of Indigenous youth to learn both new and existing art forms that will help them express their stories and personal messages and expand upon their creative skills. Operations and shipping budgets for the art supplies for the project are covered through the sale of Colleen Gray's art and fundraising efforts on her online store.
