Check out the new accessible picnic table in the park at 1751 Stittsville Main.
A Rotary community service project that has been in the planning stages since January 2021 has been completed with the arrival of an accessible picnic table in the park this week. Funded equally by the City of Ottawa and Stittsville Rotary, the new table takes it place in the park along with the other newly-repaired picnic table and 5 benches. Thank you, Councilor Gower, for your support of this project.
Club President Mario Mossman commented as follows: “Our Rotary Club of Ottawa-Stittsville is very pleased with the recent addition of an accessible picnic table in the W.J. Bell Rotary Peace Park. It is hoped that the picnic table, located close to the parking lot and the beautiful labyrinth, will enhance the enjoyment of the park for everyone!”
