How apt that the third container bound for the small Island of Futuna, Vanuatu, sets sail on 21st December. It is full of medical health supplies & equipment which will furnish and support their newly constructed 6 bed medical facility. The load also included school equipment and supplies for Prep to Year 10 students.
This environmental project of humanitarian aid to an underdeveloped country has the dual purpose of saving goods that might otherwise have gone into landfill as well as providing a community with goods they may not be able to afford in country.

The culmination of our calendar year was our 12th Birthday celebration/Christmas Party at the North Star. It was fantastic to see so many attendees including past and present members enjoying their time together. The bad Santa was a source of great amusement [except maybe for Garry & David – as I believe mischief was a foot!]
We are in full preparation mode for our Festival of Art in March, and the call is out for artists to register their work for display. - Registrations close at the end of January, so if you or your family/friends are creatives, please have a look at the flyer below and share it with any others who may be interested.
Wishing you all a safe and happy Christmas with family & friends and a prosperous and healthy New year 2026.
Looking forward to seeing you on the 12th January at the Container for our working bee.
