The Idea
In 2025, after a hiatus of 10 years, Alfredton Rotary revived the Art Show, which had been a well-loved staple of the Ballarat Begonia Festival Weekend.
In 2026, we have extended and expanded the program to become a real Festival of Art, with immersion activities for adults and children, primary school competition and evening art activities.

Entries welcome from local and interstate artists

Public Entry $5 (under 12s free)
Opening Night
Join us for an opening night soiree, chat to artists, enjoy your first opportunity to make a purchase.
Thursday 5th March 2026 6-9pm.

Immersive Experiences
Your chance to get creative with our fabulous tutor.
Try your hand at painting with our Vino and Van Gogh session for over 18's.

Student Art Competition
Open to Primary School students

Competition details and entry form have been delivered to local schools
