Crashendo! is a free after-school music education program at Laverton P-12 College, Victoria. It offers music tuition to students who experience disadvantage in accessing quality arts programs. Students attend 4 hours of classes after school each week for orchestral rehearsals, group tutorials, and choir. The students receive stellar musical training and through their involvement develop valuable skills such as teamwork, commitment, focus, confidence, resilience, tolerance and self-discipline.

Director Erica Rasmussen is a musician and educator with Masters degrees in Music Performance, Arts and Cultural Management. She has overseen the growth of Crashendo from 20 to 90 students, with inclusion of flutes and clarinets, and the current string program.
