Thank you to the Program Committee for some of our recent interesting Programs -- Raptors and Rappers. Maggie Engler from Black Hills Raptor Center came and gave a presentation on their mission: dedication to the care and conservation of native wildlife and habitat in South Dakota through education, rehabilitation and study.. The Black Hills Raptor Center provides 125-150 educational programs annually using live raptors to lassrooms, at youth programs, in the community, and for special events. Brandis Knudsen (DAKOTASOUTHRECORDS.COM) shared insight on his "other" career - as a Rap/HipHop Artist. Winner of five music awards, twelve nominations, and recorded sales in more than 30 countries, B (Brandis) of Dakota South Records is quickly rising to the top of the industry. |
