Noeline welcomed everyone
District Conference - 25 - 27th March in Mildura. This is a critical ntime for GAPE, so some members will not be attending this year.
Tony McWinney has taken over the Director International role
Greg Casson has picked up Youth directorship
KEVIN HALES - 4 projects with Lyn Harris
1. Collecting ring pulls. The ring pulls are
made from high quality aluminium, and sold to Sims Scrap metal
dealers. The funds from this goes to RAWCS in WA and is then sent to Thailand, through reputable channels. Prosthetic limbs are then made from the proceeds.
2. Stamps
3. Collecting foreign coins - proceeds go to RAM.
4. Plastic bottle tops, which are recycled and made into prosthetic limbs for children in war torn countries.
TONY McWHINNEY - Koorong cruise.
The Koorong cruise planned for September 26th has been cancelled , as there are now not enough sets available.

Training videos to be shown at Open Door on Wed 21st and in the Shopping Centre on the 22nd August
Greg introduced our guest speaker,
Jake Felix, who Is the recipient of a Youth Scholarship. Jake is in year 11 at Investigator College.

We will be developing a roster for members to participate in which will include – Rotary information about the projects we support, personal or work stories by members. We are a diverse interesting bunch of people and have much to share.
