Sergeant Ingrid commenced meeting opened meeting and called VP Noeline Biermann to stand in for President Jan and commence formalities.

Tamara, Di and Jan are attending the RC Murray Bridge meeting tonight at their invitation to hear guest speaker Kayla McDiarmid. Kayla is a former Rotary Exchange Student sponsored by Murray Bridge club, She now is looking to join Rotary and is keen to look at our club.
Last Sunday, Tamara and Jan attended a Rotary Growth Plan Workshop for Group 5, at Christies Beach. The purpose was for the 11 clubs to get to know each other better and build our Rotary Community Group Growth Plan. They have another Workshop in 4 weeks time.

Spoke for Deb Buckingham who is ill. Organising Netball BBQ and Raffle Draw. Thornbury Park meeting on 16th August
b) Tony McWhinney advised of Road Safety meeting 9the August 2,30pm
c) Chris Smith wind up for Christmas in July. Money raised to go towards the badging for the Food trailer.
d) Noeline Biermann thanked all those who are helping on the Raffle roster $3360 banked to date. New roster sent out and more help required
e) Whalers have invited us to join with volunteers at the opening of the new Laundry and shower block at their premises. Please advise ASAP.
f) The Clock. despite every effort Noeline was unsuccessful in have a sensible message on the clock. Duncan assisted and we will await Sues return.
g) Please support the Road Safety Trailer when it is in the mall. Michael Scott appreciated our attendance at the launch of the new trailer which carries our signage.
h) Alan Williams supported the Neighbourhood watch safety presentation.
Fines, Happy and Sad $$$ and Raffle Draw
The raffle was drawn by Andrew and Paul had the winning ticket, but drew the white ball. The prize will jackpot.

Other Business
Treasurer advises that increase of $5 per meal tonight is because the Fish is much more costly than chicken and pizza.
Sunday November the 10th is the Rotary Club of Strathalbyn's ANNUAL DUCK RACE. A fabulous social event for our members and families and friends. The RC Goolwa can enter a corporate Duck and dress it up. If enough people want to go we could hire a bus or car pool. Please consider this.
