Meeting 1641- 5th August 2025
Our first meeting at the Goolwa Bowls Club.

Our last meeting was held at the Goolwa Bowls Club, we had a lovely dinner of Balinese pork with stir-fried veg and rice, or a vegetable and tofu curry and rice. It was lovely to meet John who works behind the bar and Mark in the Kitchen.
Noeline had Sargent duties and opened the meeting. President Debbie welcomed us all and our guests. There was a little bit more information given out about the Purple Waves of Change at Moana, keep that date in your diaries and if you don't have one, ask about how you can get your Purple T-Shirts (an email will be sent out soon). We had some members and potential members volunteer for this weekend's Antique and Treasure event at Strathalbyn. It was announced that IPP Jan Lawrence had stepped down from Community and David McDonald had taken her place. Jan will head up the newly re-installed International Portfolio.
Shannon, Tamara, Noeline, David McD, Chris and Ingrid all had two minute spots. Welfare officer Janet gave cards and chocolates to David and Di.
Shannon won the raffle and pulled out the yellow ball! He donated the winnings to Frankie Welks fundraising initiatives which will go on to be donated to the Operation Flinders group from Goolwa Secondary.
