Someone is required to do the roster for the Christmas stocking raffle - Julie has since volunteered to to do the roster, as she did last year.
food donations need to be collected and distributed - Di volunteered to do this.Ron will do the float and tickets etc.
Tony - Garage Sale
Tony thanked all the members who helped over the 2 days.
including Yvonne, who made biscuits for the members and Jan Lawrence, who provided plants for sale.
The sale took $563
Kevin - Shed
Kevin has been over to the shed and it appears that 2 drop=down banners are missing. If anyone knows the whereabouts of these banners, can they please contact Kevin.
Di - Open Garden
Sheets are going around so that members can say when they are available, and what areas they prefer to work in. We need as much help as we can get - All Hands on Deck - due to Covid 49 conditions.
Guest Speaker - Melissa Rebbeck - Climate Change
Melissa has much experience in the area of agriculture, soil health, climate change water health and sustainability.
She was a senior researcher in state government in climate change applications to agriculture for twenty years, has been a writer in the stock journal for 15 years and has been instrumental in developing and delivering over 30 agricultural, climate, soil and environmental projects. Currently she is director of her own company Climate and Agricultural Supports pty ltd, is a farmer on Hindmarsh Island and a councillor at Alexandrina Council. Today she talked about some of her local project work and opportunities to reduce your carbon footprint.
