Happy birthday to those who have birthdays in February - Jim & Janet on the 5th, Michelle on the 18th, Ron on the 19th & Alice Hales on the 20th.
The raffle Trailer & prize money was handed to winners Julie & Wayne Daffy with Noeline, Ron, Kevin, Roger, Yvonne & myself in attendance.
Thanks to everyone for all the time put in on the trailer raffle, and especially Kevin for organising the trailer, Noeline for doing the roster and Ron for handling the tickets and money.
On Sunday 3rd February Noeline, Wendy & myself attended the Group 4 meeting at Bob Carmichael's.
I attended a meeting with Lin & Ken on Tuesday 5th February.
I also had a radio interview with Janet from Happy FM on Thursday 7th February.
The bag stand launch is to be on Friday (15th Feb) at 10:00 am Please attend in Rotary shirts if possible for photos.
The committee is Karen, Wendy, Averil, Janet & Ellie. Thank you to Karen for donating material, Averil for making 70 bags, Wendy for cutting out, plus Janet for helping out with stencilling and for ideas to improve the project. The mall is booked & the display stand will be for a week, then the bag stand ongoing.
The Community Hub has been booked for Friday 17th May for an Environmental Workshop to involve the community with the project.
A story is required for the District Conference on one of our projects. I would like it to be the Art Show, but unsure if it is eligible. I have contacted Robin Le Gallez to confirm. If not, it will be the environmental project. The environmental project will be entered for competitions at the Conference.
I have applied for leave of absence from 4th to 28th March as I will be overseas.

Fringe Festival BBQ - Sunday 11th March
I need volunteers to assist with the BBQ - Tony McWhinney, Andy Wood, Julie Payne & Tony Lucas have put their hands up to help.
Ian Cross has agreed to provided the beer for the Wooden Boat Festival on a sale or return basis.
He also has 2 cool rooms for us to use and anything else Brian asked about.
Brian has delivered the application to his Wooden Boat Contact.

The raffle draw resulted with Jim being unable to pull out the yellow ball. So the prize jackpots !

A club assembly followed with a forum on GAPE presided by both Roger & Kevin. An email has been sent separately to all members re this.
