The visit to Hindmarsh Island International Airport (partners night) scheduled for our next meeting 9th November has had to be postponed until early next year before daylight saving ends.
Also, unfortunately, our speaker tonight, Paul Shinkfield can’t make it as he is not well, however due to cancellation of next meeting’s visit, he will speak at our next meeting 9th November.
The working bee & fellowship was postponed recently due to inclement weather and has now been rescheduled for Wednesday 4th November at 11:00 am. BYO refreshments, chairs etc.
The Friends of the Currency Creek Cemetery have put out a call for help in tidying / raking at the cemetery. Their next working bee will be on Saturday morning 21st November, however it can also be organised at a time which may better suit.
Nomination Forms –It is that time of year when we have to consider our succession plan for officer & director roles for next year. Please consider your availability for any of these important roles, or nominate someone you think may be suitable (with their agreement). Forms are available from Secretary Noeline.

Lift The Lid on Mental Illness – National fundraising and awareness campaign for mental health research.
Best Hat – Votes were put on cards & put into a box.
Andy won the prize (a jar of Alan's honey) for the best hat, with his gaudy sombrero decorated with flowers and chillies.
Averil organised a quiz, which was a lot of fun. There was a draw for the winner.

All club members and visitors must sign 2 attendance sheets, one for Rotary and one for the hotel.
Wendy thanked everyone for coming along tonight and hoped they all enjoyed themselves.
