So many toys were donated under the Christmas tree in the mall that after giving to the local charities, we still had quite a lot left . These were given to the victims of the Woodside bushfire.
An email will be sent out regarding 9uor new t-shirts. This needs to be dealt with quickly, so a prompt reply from everyone would be appreciated.
Di Keach - environment
Environmental bags are going well, sales of the bags are breaking even or better.
Calperum station - Paradise High School are involved.
Di took some gum leaves for koalas affected by the bushfires, they are also treating joeys.
Anyone wishing to visit and take gum leaves, see Di.
Ron hann - australia day bbq
Ron is no longer organising the Australia Day BBQ, so someone is needed to take it over.

Roger Shelden - gape
Sponsorship for GAPE has been finalised.
Registrations opened on Jan 1
Have a look at the website and pass any comments on to Roger.
Wendy is looking after registrations, we have 50 so far.
Preview night is on April 3 (Gala Night at Bombora on the River, $25/head).
There will be a roster for members to assist.
Guest Speaker - Doug Layng, rotary foundation
Wendy introduced our guest speaker,
who is a member of the Rotary Club
of Prospect.
Doug talked to us about the Rotary Foundation, which is our charity. He informed us that the Australian Rotary Foundation funds stay in Australia. Doug have us a breakdown of grants, global and local and how the Foundation works.

We will be developing a roster for members to participate in which will include – Rotary information about the projects we support, personal or work stories by members. We are a diverse interesting bunch of people and have much to share.
