The Rotary noticeboards are now working well and several sales have been made through them

Andy Wood
Andy is updating our Facebook page, but needs information, events, preferably with photos. Anything to do with the club, or members, particularly showing us having fun would be good.
It is important to post something at least once a week, otherwise people do not bother to look at our Facebook page.

Guest Speaker - Ian (D'Arcy) Walsh (via Zoom)
Tony McWhinney introduced Ian, who spoke about ROMAC (Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children). ROMAC commenced in March 1988 out of the actions of an Australian Rotarian, who, with a group of surgeons, visited Lambasa in Fiji. They found the child mortality rate as high as 25% in some places.
ROMAC in New Zealand and Australia enlists assistance from medical experts, hospitals, nurses, physiotherapists, pathology and radiology services, airlines, sponsors and other supporters. Today ROMAC is providing surgical treatment to around 50 children from Oceania every year, making a huge difference in their lives.
