- Thank you to all members who contributed to the marvellous selection of Items
for the Goolwa Christian Community Church for the homeless and Disadvantaged.
- Membership changes. Ellie Redmond has resigned and Satish Kancherla will become a Corporate Partner.
- Invite from Rotary Club of Victor Harbor for our members to assist on the Roster at the Port Elliott Show. 8 people volunteered. Thank you
- A thankyou letter was received from the Community Centre for our help with Olive picking.
- Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club Grand Opening on Sunday 13th October. 2-4pm Please respond direct to them
- Lift the Lid on mental Illness. Hat Day is 10th October. We were invited to afternoon tea at Sandpiper to talk to Residents on this subject

- Probus Teddy Bear Picnic is on the 18th of October.
- Presentation of the Loan of the Gopher to Tony Lucas was much appreciated, especially as cars and wheels have been a large part of Tony's life. The Gopher belongs to the Club and will be covered by our insurance.

There will be a screening of the movie 'Ride Like a Girl', in Mt Barker on October 25th.
This is a fund raiser for ending polio

There will be a garage sale on Nov 17th to raise funds for Wheelchairs for Kids. Details to be advised closer to the date.

Satish Kancherla, owner of the Corio Hotel, Saltwater Cafe and the Service Station in Cadell St, now a Corporate Partner of Rotaty Goolwa, is holding a curry night on Dec 5th at the Corio. This will inclue a demonstration on cooking curry. 40 people are needed to put this on, so invite friends and relatives. Contact Karen for bookings and further info.

Di with her display for selling reusable material bags to replace plastic bags.

thanked Di for her work on the
environment project, which Di initiated during her term as President. Kim presented her with an award for best PR Activity/Event, which was announced at the District Conference.
Noelene thanked Kim for attending our meeting, and presenting Di with the award.
Sergeant Karen closed the meeting at 8:30.

Can all members and guests please wear an interesting hat to the meeting for hat day and be prepared to donate a gold coin. All proceeds will go to Rotary Health, in aid of Mental Health Research.

We will be developing a roster for members to participate in which will include – Rotary information about the projects we support, personal or work stories by members. We are a diverse interesting bunch of people and have much to share.
