We received a letter from David and Leanne Reynolds, expressing their thanks to all of those involved in the Foodland 40th birthday BBQ. $325.65 was donated towards the Drought and Bushfire Appeal.
Michelle Lihou is in hospital for surgery.
Noeline also advised that Wendy Stanley/Hall passed away last week. She was an active member of Rotary and a Paul Harris Fellow.
The Christmas Raffle in the mall is doing well and will be drawn on Sunday December 22nd in the mall.
We have been overwhelmed with donations of food and presents for the children to the extent that we have more than we can use. Noeline asked for suggestions as to whta to do with the surplus gifts. It was suggested that we contact South Coast Hospital, Back Pack for Kids and Treasure Boxes for Kids. Teddies could go to The Kids Cancer Project.
Thanks to Max and Karen, Alan has banked $886, collected in the drought buckets at the Christmas Festival.
DI Keach - Environment
Di visited Calperum, 10km out of Renmark, where the garden is being restored.
The plastic bottle tops we are collecting should have either a 2 or a 4 inside a recyucle symbol on the lid somewhere.
Julie payne - Wheelchairs for kids
we have purchased 11 wheelchairs now from the funds raised at the Darage sale held at Yvonne Hurrell's.
ALSO - MEMBERSHIP FEES ARE DUE NOW.
Christmas Festival
On behalf of Alan & I; a very big thank to EVERYONE who helped to make Sunday’s Goolwa Christmas Festival event such a great occasion for our Goolwa Community.
-We saw nothing of the Street Pageant due to our focus on the ‘Festive’, but that’s the way it needed to be for us.
A big thank you to all for the help and assistance to help ‘pull’ the event together.
The hard working crew manning the Rotary Stall selling doughnuts etc.

We now have an official letter from Shelterbox Australia for our Bronze Award.
Bookings are open for the Shelterbox fund raising Trek on Cradle Mountain on Nov 7-11 2020/
