Sgt. Ron started the meeting on time and invited Pres. Nanette to formally open meeting 1427 and welcome all the Members and our two regular Honorary Members.

 

Meeting 1427 had a few problems due to the guest speaker not  attending, but Ron Hann and Alan Jones stepped in to entertain us, Alan with some interesting facts about the control of the water level in the lakes and Ron with his adventure entitled "A honeymoon with 6 children".

 

The Sgt. managed to fine everyone at the meeting. As the raffle was won last week, this week it was back to the minimum amount and unfortunately for Lyn Harris the coloured ball eluded her, but that means it will jackpot next time.
