MC Michael Scott reminded us what a 
challenging time the club has had because of the coronavirus with greatly reduced ability to do any fundraising, and paid tribute to Wendy and Past President, Noeline for steering us through that difficult time. Michael also reminded us that we did not have a proper handover last year due to Covid restrictions.
Wendy thanked everyone for their support and assistance over the past 12 months and a special than you to the Board.Due to restrictions and lack of fundraising, out budget was cut in half, however, we did hold our Open Garden, which was a great success, special thanks to Di Keach.
Our Art Festival was postponed in 2020 
due to Covid. It was held in March/April of this year. It was a resounding success, with record attendance, record sales, and record funds raised. Many thanks to all those involved, especially Roger and the GAPE committee.
We still supported our international projects, ShelterBox, ROMAC, Malaria research, Polio Plus, Wheelchairs for the Asia Pacific (special thanks to Yvonne Hurrell, who drove this project).
Local community projects included a new stove for the Uniting Church, face masks for use during the pandemic, providing non-perishable food for the homeless, through Goolwa Foodland, a donation to the Anglican Christmas lunch for the disadvantaged, a defibrillator in the Scout Hall, a donation to the Strathalbyn RC Drysdale Foundation, 4 backpack beds and 20 sleeping bags to Whalers for the homeless and other projects.Youth Programs – RYDA, National Youth Scienc
e Forum, Goolwa Primary School Student of the year.
As we could not have the Christmas Festival, we had a Christmas lights competition and a Christmas stocking raffle in the mall.
We welcomed 2 new corporate partners, Terry Baker from Flower Works and Vic and Navi from the Goolwa Indian restaurant.

dy presented the Paul Harris Fellow award 3 to Roger Shelden for his work on the Goolwa Art and Photographic Exhibition.
Roger thanked everyone involved in the Art Show.
Area Coordinator, Dimi Whyte inducted Wendy for her second year as president of our club and 
presented her with the regalia of office.
Wendy thanked Dimi and pledged to continue with our current projects and some new ones, now that we are back to full budget. This includes the new Rotary area of focus, The Environment. To kick this off, we are planting a tree for every member of our club, past and present.
All club members present, were given a Callistemon to take home and plant.
Wendy thanked all previous board members for their contribution during the year and introduced the new Board members.
