Announcement 16th March 2020 – COVID-19 outbreak causes postponement of 2020 Goolwa Art & Photographic Exhibition
Roger Shelden – 2020 Chairman & Noeline Biermann – President Rotary Club of Goolwa

It is with great disappointment and regret we announce the postponement of the 2020 Goolwa Art & Photographic Exhibition.
The committee has been concerned, along with the community at large, at the rapidly changing developments regarding coronavirus.  Today we held an urgent meeting together with our major supporter/partner Alexandrina Council and decided to postpone this event.
This decision was taken based on the advice from Rotary International and the best available health information, from State & Federal Governments.  In consideration for the health and wellbeing of the public, entrants, Rotary and other volunteers we accept that the exhibition cannot proceed at this time.
To our fantastic supporters, the artists, photographers and sponsors please be patient as we work through the options as this is a difficult time for us all.
What have the Entrants said?
2018

After the 2018 event, a survey was conducted with all entrants and gave us a 92% high to very high satisfaction rating of their overall experience.

Here is a selection from the overall positive feedback

Quality of entries, superb curating and outstanding venue.

Huge selection of works. Friendly and competent staff. Great venue. When help needed entering artwork as an artist, its available.

It is great to provide Art for sale that benefits the local community and overseas. Well done. It is a lot of work. Thank you.

The venue is beautiful. The artwork was so professionally exhibited. It was a pleasure to walk through both upstairs and downstairs.

Have entered before 2018 and love the layout, friendly & professional atmosphere and ease of handling artwork.

The diversity of art exhibited and the opportunity to showcase my own work.

Good hanging format, great space, wonderful venue.

The lighting is good, great venue, well organised, nice Rotary people.

There was serious consideration given to photography.

The timing of the exhibition is great, as it incorporates Easter and stretched across three weekends. It is a great location which also helps draw the crowds. Very professional and well organised.

Local, inclusive of beginners and professionals, excellent venue.

The hanging was well done and easy to navigate. I liked the photography as well as the art. High standard. Well done.

Very well organised. Some excellent exhibits seemed to be plenty of visitors.
