A delightful repast and very informative presentation by General Manager Annet Maurer were the highlights.She provided a history of the Market, one of the largest board operated markets in Ontario; featuring the motto "make, bake or grow." Starting in 1996 with 10 vendors, there are currently 75 year round vendors, all dedicated to maintaining local excellence in all food, and artisanal products sold. A melting pot has developed for both the sellers and general public buyers, who appreciate the quality and the "freshness" of produce, baking, crafts et al.Pictured is Annet with President Warren Philp (L) and President-elect Rod Morrison (R).
