Today’s meeting was all about "building community! My name is Kerry Berlinquette -- I love Thunder Bay."  Thus commenced today's energetic presentation by the entrepreneur behind Destination Thunder Bay, (www.
Kerry returns to the Club to enthuse on her myriad approaches to enhance the Thunder Bay profile as a tourist destination. Destination Thunder Bay is a professional services company designing and implementing corporate events, group tours, transportation and program logistics.

She has many years experience in this field, with prior experience in the travel industry, craft brewing industry and many more.  She was co-founder of Sleeping Giant Brewery and a driving force behind Brew Ha, and has many more fun, creative endeavours to her name.

Her energy was certainly on display today. She updated us on her most recent projects including: Thunder Bay Connections- a type of corporate "welcome wagon" for prospective and newly-arrived professionals; transit bus ambassadors (a vision that would see enthusiastic and knowledgeable locals show Thunder Bay residents all the hidden gems so that they in turn could become Ambassadors to for the City, and development of tear off paper maps at businesses to help people navigate their way around the local sights and highlights.

Kerry was introduced by colleague John Stephenson (a club Past-President) and thanked by Rotarian and good friend Mike Nitz. All three are pictured along with our nimble President Rod Morrison.

Thanks for your energy and commitment to our city, Kerry!
