(New) District Governor Richard C. (Rick) Bricker is pictured holding up the map of the massive District 5580 zone, along with wife Susan, Assistant DG Sandy Lychowyd, PA President Rod Morrison (far L) and PA Rotary Past Presidents Roly and Judy Turner. Roly is also a past District Governor.

(New) District Governor Richard C. (Rick) Bricker ( has travelled with wife Susan from his Brainerd MN Club to introduce his visionary year and invigorate our club commencing his new District 5580 year.

His address confirmed a most interesting and eclectic personal background including his Dry Cleaning businesses, his appreciation for the huge challenges of child/youth abuse in all its forms and his joy at joining the Rotary family in 1986.

A most entertaining and high energy spokesperson for Rotary, we learned about his passion for helping child abuse/human trafficking victims through a special resource centre development shipping bicycles to Haiti, and many other initiatives including innovations for the upcoming District Conference 2020 with a Roaring Twenties theme in Brainerd, MN, USA, April 23-26.

Welcome to our neck of the woods, Rick and Susan, and thanks for supporting our Board and general membership with your leadership as DG.

DG Rick Bricker presented President-Elect pin to PA President-Elect Krysta Logozzo.

Thunder Bay Rotoractors, Past Presidents Hilary MacDougall (L) and Catherine Kibiuk (R) with the Inspire Banner along with DG Bricker in his hot, nouveau Polio Plus red runners.

Another important event today was the welcome and introduction of our new PA Rotary inbound exchange student Arpad Zolyomi, hailing from Targu Mures, Rumania. Arpad will be in Grade 11 at St. Ignatius. He is pictured with Rotary banner exchanges from his home district and club along with PA Rotary Exchange Chair Mat Diegel along with very proud President Rod Morrison.

Arpad is already diving into activities with gusto here. Great to have you here Arpad.
