It was highly festive with a a few business updates/announcements, then fun time:
- President Matt cleverly had each member present a stand up bio of themselves keying on their Rotary years of service and a fun story within. There were some new members just now introduced (eg new Roopa Rakshit LU Associate member and Sue Bailey - family associate already known to all for years of service) and others having the important opportunity to connect with their new colleagues.
- Matt followed with a game using improv: members (5) answering challenging Christmas questions dreamed up by Matt - resulting in very humorous and provocative answers. By popular vote the deserving winner was - Jim McDonald, who kindly donated his monetary prize to the PA Rotary Charity. Thanks to all who were excellent under stress on their feet on the spot.
- President Matt was happy to present a (faux) cheque from our Allocations Committee to Rotaractors Grace Richards (on L) and Veronica Pacholczak ( on R-pictured with Matt). Their Rotaract work is highly regarded in so many ways.
- Past president Kevin Holloway and club music director organized a special Christmas music performance with a variety of hits and carols. His colleague guitarist Michael Lyngstad from LU, entertained with jazz stylings prior to the meeting start and during the performance.
Participants pictured included Dave Silliman, Doug Shanks, Prisicilla Owusu, Michael Lyngstad on (guitar) Shelley Crawford, David Legge, Andrei Rosario (on percussion), Albert Brulé and Kevin Holloway on electric base.
