AT OUR CLUB June 22, 2021 – Rotary Club Business

President Krysta Logozzo welcomed a full house of 40, including several community members, new members and guest presenters.
The mood was celebratory as we covered recent Allocations to the community (see separate post) and Guest Speakers Gary Mack and Alan Forbes, co-owners of Bay-Village Coffee (see separate post.)

O Canada and land acknowledgement was followed by Feature Presentations, then Business/Announcements

Business and Announcement Highlights:

1. Catch the Ace Raffle WEEK 13 - the Ace of Spades is still out there!  The jackpot is over $12,000 - Get every week’s tickets before the Thursday evening draw.  THANK YOU for your continued support! Another fun YouTube video has been posted showing the donation being zapped to Shelter House. 
2. Dew Drop Inn service opportunity this Thursday June 24th - people needed for both shifts: contact D. Silliman.
3. Field of Greens 2.0: the new F.O.G. is up and running, modified. Gardeners and Journey to Life Project supporters are welcome: contact Dave Legge, Paul DeBakker.
4. The Rotary Foundation funds good works locally to internationally, and earns Paul Harris Points for Rotarian and Club.  Rotarians earn Paul Harris Fellowships over time.  Jaro Kotalik knows all. Details are in this week’s email, and more to follow.
