Such excellent speakers today!  First was Anton Waschuk is a third generation Ukranian Canadian speaking to us from Toronto on his very diverse work with Western NIS Enterprise Fund which is an economic leadership program working across Ukraine and Moldova.  They have had fantastic successes in Ukraine and work with the Canadian Ukranian Foundation.  He made a plea to all to support Ukraine during the Russian invasion, whether items like night vision goggles, hemostatics, or by donations. He was introduced and thanked by Brian Walmark.

The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Federal Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario gave generously of her time to speak to our Club. Earlier in the morning she was at two local high schools and some of their hard questions were her theme. She explained her role and its challenges, touching on infrastructure, water, fire suppression, family services and more.  Her new portfolio is diverse! The Club is much indebted for her presentation.
Patty was eloquently introduced and thanked by Krysta Logozzo Daniele
