  President's Report

Let me start off by mentioning Dogs Day Out which I erroneously omitted from last week report.

Sunday 28th August was the Norman Lindsay Dogs Day Out and my congratulations to Bruce on his first “money raising” (approx. $1200) event which turned into a great success for both NLG and the Club. Thanks to all who supported Bruce and the event.

On Friday 2nd, a small team under the direction of Bill B cooked up approx 150 Bacon & Egg sandwiches for the Faulconbridge School P & C Fathers Day Breakfast.

Last Saturday, despite the cold & wet weather saw another outstanding success for the Club, both financially (approx. $2000) & team fellowship.
Thanks to Bill B for his organisation and a special mention to Kevin who scored the “shopping” job. Thanks to all who were able to assist.

Photos from these events are included elsewhere.

Last Monday, Thea (Our very own Dee’s daughter) presented an informative & educational talk on the new RFS Bushfire Warning advice system along with useful general bushfire information. Thank you Thea for your presentation and also for all you do protecting our Community through your RFS commitment.

This Monday following from a pre meeting Board Meeting, directors will pass on relative information and we shall commence work on completing the Club Survey which Dee forwarded earlier to allow thought time.

                CLUB MEMBER SURVEY!

All members  will have received Dee’s email outlining the Survey process.

Please read the email and the Survey Form so you will be ready to discuss and ask questions on Monday night.

You can print and bring along or forms will be available on the night.

To easily peruse and or print the Survey click HERE. It will open in a browser window as a .pdf for your convenience.

A Selection of Photos from Dogs Day Out at Norman Lindsay Gallery

Showing some of the volunteers catering to the attendees. Unusually Hot Dogs and Vegetarian Sausages were served for the first time with a good response for both. Also blue and yellow  balloons were attempted as decorations but most seemed to pop... thankfully it startled the crew more so than the furry attendees...

A Selection of Photos from the Fathers Day Breakfast at Faulconbridge Public School - Sept. 2, 2022

Good weather, a very early start but lots of children, parents, grandparents and guardians served up bacon and egg sandwiches for the benefit of the P & C of Faulconbridge Public.

A Few Photos from the Springwood Festival Event

The chilly, blustery then sunny and mild conditions alternated throughout the event but didn't in the main keep the people away.

Anything to get out of the house and enjoy the stalls and people after two years of Covid...

Thank you to the volunteers that showed up and helped make this a successful fundraiser for our Club!
