The Rotary Club of Yorkton and Yorkton Regional High School's Community Activism and Awareness Club have joined forces to launch Yorktons first Interact Club!

Interact is a Rotary Sponsored Youth Service Awareness and Action Club.  Interact follows the very same principals and avenues of service that Rotary is known for Globally. The clubs are entirely student led, and the requirements that Rotary places on the club are that they execute one Global Project and one Local Project in each school year.  The details are entirely up to the students, but they will be free to leverage our clubs support in the fulfillment of those goals.

The Interact Club of Yorkton Regional High School  will officially start up in the new school year in September 2017. The clubs are entirely student led, and the requirements that Rotary places on the club are minimal. The goal is to encourage Youth into active community service as a life skill and habit, to widen their understanding of the world around them and to provide opportunities for Leadership skills development.

Interact Clubs are encouraged to network with the large number of Interact clubs globally, and in some cases, Interact Clubs from different regions of the world work together on common projects, expanding students experiences and perspectives from Local - to Global.
