SECRET PLACES OF THE STATE LIBRARY VIC

A fascinating behind-the-scenes free guided tour of the secret spaces of the State Library, including the high point of The Dome and "the catacombs" housing our earliest documents and exhibits.  We'll see the Pendulum Staircase and the Elephant Lift, originally used to transport stuffed elephants when the building housed the Melbourne Museum. Our member and guests must book individually on the Library website. Do this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE as tour groups are small numbers and they book out rapidly.
