The Optimist Club of Monaco South was started on September 11, 1976. From an original group of 43, the Club today has grown to over 125 members, 5 of whom were present on that first day.

Although the members of Monaco south come from all walks of life, we have one thing in common - we know we can make a difference. We also know that as Optimists we receive as much as we give through
  • The fellowship, camaraderie and good humor we experience at our Friday morning meetings
  • New social and business relationships with people from a cross section of our community
  • The satisfaction of making a difference in our own lives and the lives of others
The Optimist Club of Monaco South meets every Friday morning at 6:45 a.m. for breakfast.  See the footer for more information on how to connect.

We don’t expect members to attend every meeting, although many of us make it a part of our weekly routine. Some of us, because of work schedules and time commitments, are only able to attend a few meetings a year.

Likewise, we don’t expect our members to work on all of the dozens of service projects Monaco South sponsors each year. You can be as active and involved as you have time for. Monaco South’s goal is to provide varied and enjoyable opportunities for service from which our members can choose, because being an Optimist means giving time and talent to help others.

Whether you’re searching for an outlet to work with kids, help your community, personal development, or just camaraderie and fellowship, you will find what you’re looking for at the Optimist Club of Monaco South.
