The Grainfather is electrically powered so it can be used indoors. That’s right, you can even brew in the comfort of the club in a SCW summer. It has an electronic brain for precise temperature control and even has Bluetooth capability so you can run it from the app on your phone. Want to learn how to use this incredible machine? Don Marshall and Jim Mudd will take you through a hands-on course where you will learn to make your own batch of beer, under their supervision. The class will meet for three Thursdays in a row and will decide on a fourth class for tasting. While not necessary, it's best to sign up with a brew buddy. When? Thursday April 6, 13 and 20
Where? Zymurgy Clubhouse
What time? 9:00 a.m.
How much? $15. If you pay by cash or check you must register prior to dropping off your payment in the Treasurer's box in the clubhouse. Payment without registering first does not secure your place in the class.
What else? Max of six students per class. The class instructors will provide the materials, but you must supply your own bottles and caps.
