About us: Gail attended art school from 1968-71 at SIU, Carbondale where she studied with pen and ink artist, Arthur Fink. Ultimately, she abandoned art to learn psychology. After retirement, she returned to art but in a new mediums.
Richard Stackhouse, has been actively creating wood art walls and interior renovation for several years. He has been commissioned to do multiple wall murals and studied encaustic art prior to his work in acrylic art. He continues to do his "wood/wine art" murals while also doing acrylic art. He also did the photography of our art for both our website and business cards.
We love what we are doing and look forward to sharing it with Z club members.

This first class is informational to prepare you on the process and supplies and equipment you will need.
The second class on Feb, 17th will be the craft class preparing, processing and starting fermentation. Please be aware you will need to take the jars home to ferment because there have been concerns from members about other aromas in the club room.
Fermentation pickling, turns ordinary veg into a probiotic store house. As the food ferments, an organic byproduct called lactic acid is released along with digestive enzymes, Omega-3 fatty acids, B vitamins, and immune boosting chemicals. As the good bacteria in your gut propagates you will start looking and feeling healthier and more energized.
Lacto-fermentation is method of preserving food. Long before refrigerators and freezers, people needed a way to assure that their families would have enough to eat even after the bountiful harvests were complete. |
