May 17, 2019 General Membership Meeting

If you couldn't make it, here's what you missed...

Thank you to everyone who attended our May 17th General Membership meeting!  Kern's Food Truck was there and a big thanks to them as well!

The Washington Realtors® Spring Business Conference recently wrapped up (April 24-26).  MCAR is proud to boast that members of our association were nominated for statewide awards:
  • Peggy Zamzow, nominated for Affiliate of the Year 
  • Tom Hurdelbrink (NWMLS), nominated for Partner of the Year
  • Richard Beckman, nominated for Realtor® of the Year
  • Keith Fuller, nominated for Realtor® Achievement Award
This is a huge accomplishment for our team and we are proud to have you all represent us!
 
We had a town-hall style Q&A about our Realtor® organization and a few key tips were pointed out:
  • Make sure you leave your cards at showings!  This is a requirement.
  • Make sure you check the lights and/or locks before leaving.  Ellen has these signs available for purchase if you'd like.
  • Make sure you respond to offers that are sent and send them to your DB!
  • You don't need a road maintenance agreement anymore! (This is attached to the article as well as in our site)
MCAR Needs Volunteers!
There are several committees that will be needing volunteers.
  • Oysterfest Committee:  Contact Tracy Mettier if you'd like to be a part of this committee.  This committee will discuss our participation in Oysterfest 2019.
  • ClubRunner Committee:  Contact Ellen Howard if you'd like to be a part of this committee.  This committee will talk about how to make ClubRunner more effective, how to use it, etc.
  • Nomination Committee for 2020:  Contact Keith Fuller if you'd like to be a part of this committee.  This committee will be forming for the 2020 slate of officers.
  • Quality of Life/Government Affairs Committee:  Contact Angela Barnes if you'd like to be a part of this committee.  This committee discusses current local and national governmental affairs.
