On June 25th from 5:30-7pm the Economic Development Council, along with the fire departments and many other partners, is hosting a "Fire Prevention and Community Awareness" seminar. They are simultaneously having it in three locations: Shelton (Civic Center), Belfair (N. Mason School Dist Board Rm), and Lake Cushman (Fire Dist 18 station). It will also be simulcast on iFiberone News Radio, Tygart Media and MasonWebtv. See the attached flyer for more information. With the fire season upon us, this is "must-have" information for all of us to protect our homes and community from fires... Send this to anyone else you can think of that might be interested - everyone is invited... |

There are three upcoming classes on on-site septic systems that are being held in Mason County. They are put on by the WSU Mason County Extension office, and I went to one years ago and learned A LOT. It has helped me so much in this business (and at home with my own septic system!). Here is the schedule: June 26th, in Belfair at the Belfair Timberland Library from 5:30-7:30. July 24th in Shelton at the PUD 3 Meeting room from 5:30-7:30. August 22nd in Hoodsport at the Hoodsport Timberland Library from 5:30-7:30. Walk-ins welcome, if you have any questions call Lisa at 360-427-9670, ext. 680. |

MCAR's Government Affairs Committee is in need of Realtors interested in growing our affordable housing in Mason County through a grant program by way of a recent State Legislative passage of HB 1923 for more affordable housing. It would be wonderful to have as many Realtors as possible to show support and lend a hand with the necessary review and processing of grant.. We need to make application by Sept. 30th, so, Time is of the Essence..... Please come join Kim Delany at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21st at 1910 Railroad Ave, in the conference room next to Ellen's office. |
