Please join us at 6:00pm this Wednesday at Leucadia Pizza for our regular club meeting. There will be food, drinks, and you'll hear about upcoming events and service opportunities.
Amélie Catheline is a scientist, environmental volunteer, and Eco Consultant at Let's Create Tomorrow. She strives to demonstrate her passion for nature and protecting our planet every day. She is driven by the mission to inspire innovation and collaboration among individuals and teams towards a more positive and sustainable world. Among various environmental challenges including climate change, she is particularly interested in identifying opportunities to promote water conservation, food security, and zero waste.
She became a Rotarian in January 2018, by joining the Solana Beach Eco-Rotary to combine environment, business, and fun activities. As a community service chair, she organizes a monthly service at the San Dieguito County Park and other occasional activities. She is President-elect for 2019-2020 and looks forward to connecting the world, people and Nature!
The Solana Beach Eco-Rotary Club dedicates its mission to educate Rotarians and community members about environmental challenges and engage in implementing their solutions. Programs, field trips, community service, and district grant projects are selected to fulfill this mission. Members are like-minded business owners, passionate about the environment, eager to learn more, discover, share and put solutions into practices. Amélie Catheline will present the different activities and what makes the Eco-club unique. This presentation will be an excellent opportunity to learn what you can do to further protect the environment and empower community members to take action.
