Club Meeting at Leucadia Pizza

Please join us at 6:00pm this Wednesday at Leucadia Pizza for our regular club meeting. There will be food, drinks, and you'll hear about upcoming events and service opportunities. If you are curious about Rotary and the many wonderful things the organization provides to our local and international communities, this is a great opportunity to learn more about how you can get involved! Be sure to join us on Wednesday at 6:00pm and check out the club calendar on our website for more details on upcoming events.

SD Coastal Rotary is family-friendly and kids are always welcome. Guests can let us know if they'll be attending through RSVP on Facebook.

Field Days with Kids from Refugee Tutoring

Come out and help the kids of Refugee Tutoring and Ibarra Elementary in City Heights in their Field Days. The kids will be participating in different atheletic events and will need help setting up organizing and helping to run the events for the kids. More information to come.

Service Project - Volunteer at Blind Ski Clinic

Come join us for this fun service project, July 22! It was a hit with both our volunteers and the participants last year.

You'll spend the morning helping the participants get into the boats and help as needed both on land and while in the boats while you get the chance to cruise around the bay. Lunch will be provided so be sure to come out for this fun, outdoor activity.

Volunteers will need to be there at 8:30 am to set up and the clinic starts at 9:00 am. It will finish at about noon. 10 to 12 volunteers would be great to have come help out!

REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED - Orphanage Beautification in Valle de Guadelupe

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED for our next trip to Valle de Guadalupe for orphanage beautification on Saturday August 26 - Sunday August 27. We will be working at a smaller, all boys orphanage to help them paint several structures, repair some stairs, do some fun art projects with the kids and feed them a great lunch. The format will be similar to previous trips, leaving Saturday morning at 7am and coming back Sunday afternoon around 5pm. We will be working in the Valle at the orphanage during the day then having a dinner in a nearby restaurant (La Esperanza). We plan on staying in Ensenada at the Cortez Hotel and going out on the town in Ensenada (yes, we will find a place that's got the fight on TV). If you did not register to attend this time, please feel free to still support the trip by donating at our next meeting. If you have any questions please contact Tom at service@sdcoastalrotary.org.
