Happy New Year everyone! We hope you have enjoyed the last few weeks off! We're back to our normal meeting schedule, with our first meeting of 2017 being this Wednesday, January 4th at 6:00pm at Leucadia Pizza.

Art Show Opening Fundraiser @ Sparks Gallery
San Diego Coastal Rotary Club invites you to an Art Show Opening Fundraiser at Sparks Gallery in downtown San Diego this Saturday, January 7th, where all alcohol sales will benefit the club. The Sparks Gallery is one of the largest and most prestigious galleries in San Diego and will be hosting a show of work of sculptors from the National Sculpture Society. The Peace Heroes Walk Around the World is a joint initiative between the 21st Century Peace Literacy Foundation and the Dayton, Ohio Peace Museum. For the first time ever, the walk is being held here in San Diego and they're reaching out to us to be a part of it! You can get involved in a number of ways including: starting your own team, sponsoring a team, donating to the event, or volunteering at the event. This is a great way to promote Rotary and it's goal to foster peace locally and globally, and we hope you can participate!
The event is on Sun, March 19th at Magee Park in Carlsbad, California.
