David Rabbitt - Sonoma County Supervisor

David Rabbitt was elected in November 2010 to represent Sonoma County’s 2nd District on the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors. David began his four year term in January after previously serving as the Vice Mayor and member to the Petaluma City Council.

Supervisor Rabbitt is the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors Vice-Chair Pro and is assigned many responsibilities that include: Fires Services, Strategic Planning, Pension Advisory Committee, Water Advisory, Sonoma County Employment Retirement Association and Sonoma County Transportation Authority and others

Supervisor Rabbitt has been active in numerous community activities in the Petaluma City Schools; the District’s Fund Development Task Force, and serving on the Campaign Committees for Measures C and K to help raise funds for local schools. Supervisor Rabbitt also has spent years as a baseball and soccer coach as well as serving as a Board Member for both the Sonoma County Alliance Soccer Club and the Petaluma National Little League.

David Rabbitt is an architect having earned his architectural degree at the University of Oregon and resides in Petaluma with his wife Jane and three children Megan, Patrick and Sarah.
