Many of have been reading out the PPP, CARES, SBA and other government relief programs aimed to help small business and non-profits through this Covid Pandemic. Hear from to experts who have studied the program, advising clients and in the case of Exchange Bank being a prime SBA lender for these loans. What ARE the provisions? Are they helping? What's working? What's Not?

Will Soper is a partner in Beels Soper LLP, specializes in servicing the accounting, advisory and tax compliance needs of small to mid-sized businesses, estates, trusts, and individuals, including multi-state tax compliance.  His areas of industry expertise include real estate development, construction contractors, manufacturing, service and entertainment.

Will Soper holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Sonoma State University and is a California licensed CPA and has practiced in public accounting since 2000. Will‘s professional affiliations include membership in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. A native of Petaluma, Will is a board member of Literacyworks and is also a volunteer for numerous community organizations.

Joe Smith is senior vice president and manager of Exchange Bank’s Small Business Administration Division. A Career SBA lender with over 30 years in the business, Joe has an extensive background in SBA having run large national SBA programs as well as starting from scratch numerous small community bank SBA programs.  Joe is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor degree in Finance. He is active in the community and is a long time member on the Board of Directors of the YMCA in Santa Rosa.
