Interested in joining the Parksville Qualicum Aero Club?

There are several good reasons to join QBFC, but here is one that might be of particular interest.

We have C-GIEO a very nice Cessna 172M!

It is professionally maintained by Nanaimo Aircraft Maintenance, has a new factory remanufactured engine, electronic tach, Garmin Mode C transponder and Electronics International Ultimate Bar Graph engine monitor as well as a Garmin GPS (VFR only), Garmin and Bendix-King digital radios.

GIEO is available for QBFC Flying Members only.

To book our aircraft you first must be a member of QBFC which is only $120 a year for a membership.  The current annual Flying Member dues are an additional $1500 which includes 12 hours of flying time (dry). After reaching 12 hours of flight time annually in GIEO you  can then book the plane for only $44 per hour (dry) for each hour flown after that point.

The 12 hours of flying is an objective from the club’s policy to encourage members to fly at least 12 hours annually to enhance their safety in flight.

Our President and Director of Aircraft Maintenance, Fred Evoy,  is very well suited to answer any other questions you might have about this program or our flying club. You may reach Fred via links on the left side of QBFC’s home page.

We look forward to meeting and hope you decide to join QBFC.
