This charity, founded in March 2017 supports those affected by domestic violence, homelessness and unemployment. Some of the many things they do/provide are counselling, low cost food outlet, op-shop and a twice weekly cooked breakfast. These services are for anyone and everyone in need.

Christine Johnson-Evans and Kerry Hayes visited the venue to meet the founder and coordinator Maria, an amazing an inspirational woman. Maria showed them around and talked about the many great services the charity provides.

One of the things Maria identified they need is assistance with the BBQ breakfast on Thursdays between 8am and 10am. Their own volunteer staff would be present, and our club members would be there to assist. Maria mentioned an elderly lonely gentleman who attends the breakfasts, just for a friendly person to talk to.

Kerry put the call out to members and sent a roster calling for volunteers, to assist every second Thursday with these BBQ breakfasts, cooking, serving or just being a friendly face to talk to.

The first Thursday was Thursday 23rd July, and scheduled to continue every second Thursday after that.
