Caron and his wife Elaine have 3 sons ( Jason, Aiden, Tim) and 4 granddaughters.

Caron grew up on a farm in St. Rose Manitoba and completed his post secondary education in Winnipeg.

Thirty years ago Caron and his partner started a company “ Partner Technologies Incorporated” that designed, built and serviced large power transformers. The company was very successful both nationally and internationally. Four years ago Caron sold his interest to his partner.

Caron and Elaine are huge supporters of the arts including music and theatre. They love to travel -  they need to as their sons live in Toronto, Bali, and Berlin.
