Our team volunteered at the San Dieguito Park to remove some invasive plants.
On this beautiful Sunday morning, we helped the rangers with removing ice grass (also known as sea fig), a plant that is not native in California and that might suffocate other plants.
While removing the plants, we faced an inhabitant of the area and we paused waiting for ranger Sam to pick up a lovely diamond back rattlesnake and guide it somewhere else!
We cleaned the area assigned, but there is more to do and we will come back.
Thank you Sam!
