We spent the day thinking, discussing, sharing about our club and what we want to do for this coming Rotary year and beyond.
We met in the meeting room of the San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve and Nature Center, highly recommended for any event! Nice place, great view and LEED certified building!!!

Breakfast time, homemade french crêpes, teas, coffee, "real" mugs, almost zero plastic!

Get some coffee and let's start the discussions

Values, vision, communication, events, zero-waste.... Many themes to keep us busy for several hours.

View from the deck and the meeting room in the morning
View from the deck and the meeting room at lunch time

Lunch time, because food is important too, especially when it's good food from Seaside Market and reusable dishes!

Salads came with edible flowers, nice and tasteful, thank you Niels for trying

With all that hard work we earned a little break with a guided tour of the nature center loop on the San Elijo lagoon.

Last, but not least, the nature center we spent the day at is a LEED Platinum-certified building.
