Composting Basics - a method for everyone
After a brief overview of the Solana Center origin story, the presentation discusses the dangers of methane and helps participants decide which of the different types of composting is best for them depending on personal circumstances.
Tammy Churchill, a Master Composter and Eco Team Docent and Outreach Coordinator, had her first exposure to the Solana Center while taking a class to figure out why her compost pile wasn't composting. Three years and many classes (and composting techniques) later, she's now excited to share with people a wide variety of sustainability practices that can be implemented in their own homes.
