Tony Gurnoe, San Diego Botanic Garden
Tony Gurnoe is the Director of Conservation Horticulture at the San Diego Botanic Garden where he leads activities related to endangered plant conservation, native ecosystem restoration, and research of many kinds. Tony's background is characterized by conservation of southern California natives, cycads, and threatened subtropical species, with expertise in developing germination protocols and other horticulture strategies related to difficult to cultivate species.
