A case study of what went wrong and why, and how to fix and avoid it in the future.

Bob is a graduate of Yale University.  He was an infantry platoon leader in Vietnam and a Green Beret.  Bob served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary in Energy Department, Deputy Manager of Power at Tennessee Valley Authority, and was one of the initial partners in the electric company AES, which went from a $1mil startup to $7 billion publicly traded company.  He was also the CEO of AES Solar, a startup which went from nothing to 51 solar plants and $2.5 bill of assets in five years.  He is also the author of two books about energy and international business. Currently, Bob is the Founder and CEO of Sunshine Soldiers, a non-profit focusing on renewable energy education.
